The Phantom's Gonna Git Ya

I know I'm asking for trouble here by offering an AskTom page for a WTF, but I couldn't resist. If there was ever a time you wanted your spelling to be spot on, it would be when posting a link to a spell-checker...

To be fair to the Inestimable Mr Kyte the link is actually good, it's just the name of the tar file that's funny. Who knows, perhaps it's a joke on Tom's part?

Cheers, APC

You don't find it ironic that a spell checker is in a file whose name is spelled wrong :)

I've been told I have a 'sense of humor', but that is like being told you have "luck" - there is good luck, there is bad luck....

(it was a bad joke by the author of the package...)

At least we spelled obfuscation correctly... I still can't say obfuscation easily. I'm so glad they came out with dbms_crypto in 10g, much easier to say.

I do, hence the post. I should have probably been more explicit in my original post, as per APC's comment above.

On the contrary, it made me chuckle (actually that probably says more about my sense of humour than the quality of the joke).

Try telling that to the creeping cat...
